Whether you’re living in apartments in West Village at UC Davis or any other college town throughout the United States of America, you’re probably looking forward to going on an exciting vacation or trip during spring break. At this point in the school year, it’s time to kick back, relax, unwind, and let yourself enjoy some time away from the stress you experience due to college life.

As you are about to learn, there are a number of cheap spring break ideas to pursue if you are going to enjoy this vacation without going over your budget. No one says you have to stick to a budget if you feel like splurging a little, but we’d like to show you how easy it is to take an affordable vacation during spring break without having to break the bank or borrow money from mom and dad.

With that out of the way, we will now take a look at some of the best spring break ideas if you’re looking to visit some of the many vacation hotspots throughout North America. There are so many fun places to visit during your time off from school, and we highly recommend checking out any one of the suggestions we make below.

    Seattle, Washington

We think Seattle, Washington is a great place to visit if you’re looking to get away from your regular day-to-day life during spring break. Not only is it a fun and exciting town to visit, there’s also plenty to do while visiting here.

The cool thing about visiting Seattle pretty much any time of the year is that you and your friends and family members can go on plenty of outrageous adventures while here. And the adventures we’re talking about will not keep you cooped up inside of a hotel room, movie theater, or any other indoor location. No, we want you spending your days and nights outdoors so you can relax, unwind, and decompress from the busyness of school.

So do yourself a favor and check out Seattle. There are plenty of great places for you to go hiking, biking, and fishing, and we definitely suggest you take this opportunity to experience the outdoors in this beautiful place. If you’re really in the mood to see some of the funniest and cutest animals on the planet, then you could also take a moment to visit the Woodland Park Zoo while you’re here. It’s a great place to go to enjoy the sights and sounds of the animals, which is always an entertaining experience for all in attendance.

    Montréal, Canada

Are you thinking about visiting somewhere in North America but outside of the United States? If so, then you have the unique opportunity to visit Montréal, Canada, and see this beautiful place in all of its glory.

You see, many people like to go to Montréal because they speak French here, so it’s possible to immerse yourself in French culture without actually visiting France. Plus, you’ll get to see gorgeous cobblestone streets, the oldest Catholic Church in Montréal named the Notre Dame Basilica, and if you ever wanted to visit the site of the 1976 Summer Olympics, you could also take a stroll through Olympic Park.

More than anything else, many people like to visit Montréal because it’s a great place to go to immerse yourself in a different culture without having to go too far from home. Many people feel that visiting France is just too far away or too expensive, but it’s much cheaper to hop on a flight to Montréal and visit this quaint yet exciting city.

Besides the places we’ve already mentioned, you can visit the Montréal Botanical Garden, the Montréal Biodome, and Mount Royal Park. As you are about to learn, this really is an exhilarating place to go, it’s relatively inexpensive, and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported into an entirely new world as soon as you get here.

    Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Many of today’s eager spring breakers are going to fall head over heels in love with Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, because it’s this gorgeous little beach community with a happening nightlife and so many crazy things to do.

For starters, while you’re here you can take a ride on the Sky Wheel, which is actually the largest Ferris wheel in the entire United States. Or if you’re in the mood for a slight change of pace, you can visit one of the many amusement and water parks located in the vicinity of Myrtle Beach.

After you’ve spent the day soaking up the sun while lounging in the sand, you may want to go out for a night of eating, drinking, gambling, and dancing with your friends. Some of the best places to go include Broadway at the Beach, the Big “M” Casino, the House of Blues, and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Entertainment District.

More important than anything else, if you do decide to take a trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, make sure you give yourself enough time to really enjoy your vacation. It’s important to get away from school and clear your head so you come back fresh, relaxed, and ready to take on the challenges ahead of you as you finish out the spring semester.

So do yourself a favor and enjoy a relaxing time in this wonderful beach community. You’ll be glad you decided to take a moment away from hitting the books to give yourself much needed rest and relaxation time. It’s definitely worth it.
